VALENCIA, Spain — Barcelona are in control at Mestalla, taking a 2-0 lead over Valencia in a fast-paced LaLiga Matchday 4 clash.
The visitors opened the scoring through Lamine Yamal in the 6th minute, giving Barcelona an early advantage. Yamal appeared to have scored again shortly afterward, but the second goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
Barcelona continued to dominate and doubled their advantage when Fermín López finished a well-worked move inside the Valencia penalty area.
The result puts Barcelona in a strong position to maintain their perfect start to the 2026-27 LaLiga campaign. The Catalan side entered the match with three wins from three, while Valencia had collected just one point from their opening three matches.
